Selling a house is a stressful process and you want to have a great team on your side. That is what you will get with James Ramsey. Both Paul and Steve visited the property to take a look and value the property and talk us through their ethos. It struck a cord with me seeing people passionate about their own business. From my own experience of estate agents from viewing property, often the so call "bigger" firms will employ very junior people to show prospective buyers around a property, often they have very little knowledge of the market, the property and rarely come back to you with answers to questions.. I wanted the people selling my property to be the owners of the business and to have experience, knowledge and to be responsive to prospective buyers. Again this was what we got with James Ramsey. We found our dream home and had an offer accepted before we'd put ours on the market, so we were immediately under pressure and Steve initially took up the challenge. He worked his socks off attending all viewings, even at weekends and when the flow of viewings slowed he pounded the pavements delivering leaflets in the rain to increase the interest, resulting in some more viewings. When we found our buyer Paul immediately made a connection with the lady and took on the process of getting the sale through. This, and they will tell you it, is where they earn their fee... and they were right. The process was painful, not through the fault of James Ramsey, due to the incompetence of our buyers chosen conveyancer. Paul remained calm and collected and continued to keep me updated with the progress and deal with one of the most challenging of 3rd parties in the buyers conveyancer. He had the patience of a saint. I write this sitting in the kitchen of our new home and I thank Steve and Paul for getting us here. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys, they became friends during the process. If you are sitting there thinking shall I go with the "big guys" with their high street branches or shall I give these guys my instruction. I would say go with the people that care and will go the extra mile.
